While I do see room for growth in your writing, it’s a wonderfully solid first novel. I was intrigued right from the prologue, and thoroughly enjoyed the adventure of the first half. However, the story really began to shine in the latter half, and that is when I was fully emotionally engaged. I feel both the writing style and the characters and their plot really matured at that point, and the story truly came into its own.”
